February Casual Meetup – 2/2/20

Our next casual meetup is Sunday, 2nd February at 11:00am at:

Canning River Café

Corner Kent St & Queens Park Rd, Wilson WA 6107

The café is situated next to the picturesque Kent Street Weir – which is a planned venue for an EV charger to be installed by the City of Canning.

Casual meetups are open to everyone including those who have never seen a Tesla before.

It’s an ideal opportunity to meet club members and to also see the cars in the flesh which we are all passionate about.

We hope to see you there and look forward to chatting about all things Tesla.

First Casual Meetup of 2020 – Wed Jan 1, 2020

By happy coincidence, our next scheduled casual meetup is Wednesday evening, January 1st.

We had a chat about options for this at our last casual meetup at Swan Settlers Market and John and Shirley proposed that we go watch the fireworks on the Canning River near Salter Point.

We propose to meet on the northern foreshore around 7pm near 33 Salter Point Parade, Salter Point, where there is a small beach. John and Shirley have offered for people to park at their house – 16 Redmond Street, Salter Point, which is a casual 850m walk from the location – you may be able to park closer, but it can get quite busy.

The fireworks start around 8pm, so we’ll meet and have a picnic/chat on the foreshore in advance and people are welcome to stay after the conclusion of the fireworks.

Teslas at the Drive-ins – AGAIN

In case you missed the last time, or if you want to go see a better movie 🙂

…we are returning to watch Ford v Ferrari.

Wednesday 27th November, TOCWA will be at the Galaxy Drive-In Theatre in Kingsley – Perth’s very last Drive-in.

Come and join us in reliving our 20th Century childhoods watching a movie in the back of our 21st Century cars!

Gates open at 6:30 and the movie starts at 7:15pm.

We will be gathering at Moolanda park opposite 6 Harness Street Kingsley from 6:15pm, before driving in convoy around the corner to the Drive-In at 157 Goollelal Drive Kingsley 6026 at about 6:45pm.

All members and friends are most welcome to join us in celebrating our cars and reviving fond memories.

Gin Tasting at Sin Gin – December 1st

Come along to Sin Gin, one of WA’s newest (and recently highly awarded) gin producers at their new home in the Swan Settlers Market in the Swan Valley for a tasting and social meetup

Sin Gin orchestarted the installation of the Tesla HPWC there, and we’re returning the favour by sampling their product!

We’ll meet from around 11am for some tasting – there are plenty of opportunities for lunch and other delicacies at the market, and in the surrounding area – we may also head out to a winery afterwards.

CYBERTRK Reveal Livestream

Come along and watch the CYBERTRK reveal with other owners on Friday at 51 Hampden Road, Nedlands. We’ll meet from 11:30 with a view to the livestream kicking off around midday

There are various local options to grab some lunch, and we’ll supply some light refreshments

Wednesday Drive-in
